Chapter 362 The Power of Information part 2

From the emails, I found out he had to take dowers before talking to my grandfather. That meant he would be mentally weaker for a bit. If I use my dream manipulation on him and suggest something real quick, I might end up with a strong pawn.

Having access to information in advance was really a big advantage.

"Alright, I\'ll go there. Let them know I just need some time to prepare," I instructed her.

She didn\'t reply immediately. Instead, she walked toward me, leaning in to whisper something.

"Uncle Joon, can I come again tonight?" she asked with a hint of embarrassment. I could tell; she really enjoyed our last night interactions, and who could blame her ? I\'m pretty confident in my skills of satisfying women.

"Sure," I replied, trying to keep it natural.

A smile lit up her face after hearing my response, and she happily exited the office.

\'Now, time to do some improvisation on my plan,\' I thought to myself as I turned off my PC to prepare for my meeting with Zhang.

With the data I had gathered, I felt confident about my ability to adapt and modify my plan as needed in real-time. This approach could potentially save me some trouble, especially since I\'d have access to where my grandfather was, and possibly my mom too.

\'This is going to be an interesting reunion,\' I chuckled to myself.

However, deep down, I hoped that my granddad wasn\'t too evil for comfort.

If he turned out to be, I\'d have to tell my mom he died of old age. I didn\'t have much tolerance for someone who could put my life in danger, regardless of blood relations.

"Scan him first," commanded a man donned in a sleek black combat suit.

Three others, armed with metallic sticks, swiped them over me, presumably checking for anything illegal. But they wouldn\'t find a weapon on me because, well, I was the weapon.

After their futile attempt to find anything, they finally granted me access to the Security department, which housed the prison.

Well, calling it a prison felt like an understatement; it was more like a weapon armory given the number of agents donned in combat suits throughout the facility.

"Are they gearing up for war or something?" I mused aloud, intentionally letting my thoughts slip out.

The person guiding me overheard, and it struck me as funny.

Here I was, coming to check on Zhang, but there were also people here ready to check on me too.

"We\'re talking about the meetup of Code Zero and Code One – the former strongest and current strongest gifted in Asia. You could even say both have the ability to destroy a small nation," my guide spoke up. I could sense that he, too, was eagerly anticipating this event.

\'Hey, hey, calling them the strongest in front of me is a bit much,\' I sighed dramatically.

The people here were like frogs on a glass, not seeing the full picture.

Strongest? I could probably pinch Zhang into nothingness if I was at my full power. Sometimes, the hype was just that – a bit too silly.

I am the strongest, Zero-One. My name should be the one that brings fear to the people.

\'It\'s hard to act weak and humble\' I thought, realizing I had let these clowns snag the title of the strongest just because I wasn\'t one to brag about my power.

But I\'d let this slide for now; there were more pressing matters at hand. Just wait until I had control over everyone here.

I had plans to turn that Zhang guy into my personal power generator for the beach resort I was planning to build. It might be unnecessary and a waste of his gifts, but who cares? He dared act like a big shot in front of me, the real boss.

"We\'re here," the guide announced, and I found Zhang seated in a waiting room. It was also filled with a dozen agents donning a different model of combat suits. These must be the so-called Ranked Teams.

Observing him from a distance, he seemed a bit pale, maybe from an overdose of that downer. I couldn\'t help but shake my head in disappointment; the guy had the power to flatten cities, and yet, here he was drinking pills to get weaker .

I would understand it if his power was useless, but nope. It puzzled me. I concluded from our first encounter that I was the only one who could beat him in Asia, and that\'s saying something since I\'m me; The most good-looking, skilled, kind-hearted, brilliant person in the world.

"My name is Director Joon , and I would be one of your guides" I walked closed to him with a casual tone.

He just glanced at me and stood up. There was this aura about him that made others cower, even in his weakened state. So, I had to play along and act like I, too, was affected by it.

Seeing that everyone was already present, the individuals really in charge of this place started conversing for the next phase of this escort mission.

"Let\'s move," ordered the director of this place. He was a rugged man in his 40s, radiating an air of authority that demanded attention as he led the way.

The walk to the prison area took a while as it was much deeper than other sections. I attempted to get closer to Zhang without drawing attention, but the security was tight.

At the same time, I was aware that the AI was closely monitoring our every move. Any sudden suspicious action could trigger its detection.

After about 20 minutes, we reached a metal door.

From the info I hacked, I could tell it wasn\'t regular metal. This door was made from a rare type not known to the public, almost indestructible.

As I looked at it, my telekinesis\' blue energy seemed to avoid it, like it hit a virus or something. This meant my telekinesis wouldn\'t work against it.

\'The world is a really big place,\' I thought to myself after discovering something new again.
