"What is it?" The guard was startled hearing the annoyed tone of the former Crown Prince. The former Crown Prince of the Dune Sovereignty now has become a prisoner. The last news that he received yesterday was that they had lost the war. Even though Garrick hated his father, he was really pissed at the fact that they lost. Garrick asked in a stern tone. He did not look at the guard. He was completely uninterested in knowing what was going to happen to the Dune Sovereignty Empire now. Since they had lost, it was useless to have any hope for this Empire\'s future. He was lying on his bed and was staring at the cold polished metal ceiling. A small candle just outside his cell provided just enough light. It was better than the complete darkness that Garrick experienced in his first three days in prison. "Your Royal Highness, today the Dune Sovereignty is about to have a new Ruler. The Coronation ceremony has already begun." Hearing this, Garrick instantly stood up and looked towards the guard with a frowning look. "What did you say?" He wanted to hear it again to make sure that he didn\'t hear him wrong. "It\'s the truth! The Whole Capital has prepared for this occasion. All nobles, generals, and even the Prime Minister of the Istarin Empire are here for the coronation."
Hearing this, Garrick\'s frown turned into a look of confusion. Now that their Empire was defeated, instead of being annexed by the Istarin Empire, why is there a change in regime?
