Tap! Tap! Tap!
Aakesh had just closed his eyes to relax when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the store. He opened his eyes and turned in the direction of the exit and was greeted by the sight of a new customer hesitantly coming toward the store.
Outside the store,
Arish belonged to the Beruniot race, a race in the Demon group. The Beruniots were one of the top races of the Demon group, with a Sacred Creator as its leader.
Arish looked like other members of the Beruniots. The race members stood on five legs. Their red skin with a black tint caused them to look eerie. They had two pairs of eyes without any eyelids.
Arish was taller than average in his race, with him being almost fifty feet tall. Every step he took on the ground caused a slight dent in it due to his heavy weight.
The bones of Beruniots were immensely dense, with even a little piece weighing several times more than compared to other races\' bones.
Arish\'s coming to the store wasn\'t a coincidence, but he came here after learning about it from his friend. He had a purpose for coming here since his life was going through a turbulent phase.
The relationship between races in the Demon group wasn\'t ideal. Beruniots had many enemies, not only from other races but also from Demon races. But since the ruling races of the group prohibited any kind of large war between the top races with the Sacred Creator in its lead, the situation remained peaceful.
It didn\'t mean that races forgot their enmities. Instead, the fight moved behind the scenes. The subordinate races fought for the supremacy of their leaders.
Since Beruniot was also one such top race, it had several subordinate races that did its bidding. They harmed other top races\' prospects and benefited Beruniots. It was known to everyone, but since top-level powerhouses weren\'t joining the war, everyone looked sideways and ignored such things.
But sometimes things reached a point where the races had to intervene. A similar thing happened with Beruniots and Igrians. The two races had been eyeing a resource point for several millions of years, with each side having half control over the resources.
Gruntacs worked for Beruniots, while Husnostics worked for Igrians and handled the two sides. Three years ago, while mining, an ordinary worker belonging to the Husnostic race found an extremely rare mineral that caused a situation over at the resource point.
Since a Husnostic member found the resource in the territory of Igrians, it should have been theirs, but how could Beruniots let them have it? Beruniots were the first to find the resource point. It was just that it was near the territory of the Igrians, so both top races decided to distribute half to each other after a long battle of wits. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
But the resource had a value that was more than enough to force Beruniots to disregard that agreement and fight for the entirety of the resource point. Since there were explicit rules prohibiting top races from directly fighting, bloodshed happened between the subordinate races.
It reached a point where Gruntacs and Husnostics had reached almost extinction after their numbers touched a dangerous level. It caused a revolt as the leaders of the two races joined hands and cut off the two top races from the resource points.
Both Gruntacs and Husnostics had one Sacred Monarch at their helm, so unless the two top races dispatched more than two Sacred Monarches to battle, there was no way for them to regain the resource point.
If the two races dispatched that number, it would alert other top races as well, causing more than two competitors for the mined resource. Since neither of the two races wanted that to happen, they decided to do things differently.
It was known to other races in the Demon group that Beruniots and Igrians were enemies. The two races used that in their favor to announce a battle contest between the two races.
Since the Demon Group prohibited top powerhouses from fighting together, the cultivation level of the contestants was limited to the Supreme God level. Whoever won the contest with more victories would gain ownership of the resource point.
As for Gruntacs and Husnostics, the two races would jointly become the subordinates of the winning group and would keep mining for it.
Arish was a peak Lesser God, so he was also selected as one of the contestants in the battle.
All the battles in the contest would be life and death, so getting selected was an honor Arish didn\'t want to receive. Unfortunately for him, he had no power to do anything, so he had to accept the position of contestant.
Arish was a rising star of the current generation in Beruniots, so many had high hopes for him. Similarly, he was going to be a target for the members of the Igrians.
If Arish wanted to survive, he needed to get even stronger, and to do that, he needed to find himself powerful helpers. One such helper suggested he come to the store.

"Hello, store owner, I am Arish," Arish respectfully greeted Aakesh.
"I am Aakesh."
"Store owner, please tell me about the store products." Arish didn\'t want to waste even a moment and immediately asked about the store\'s products.
The friend who asked him to go to the store was silent about what would help him, so he was as blank as a white sheet about the store as some passerby who randomly found the store.
"The store currently sells six products…
There are three levels of pills available, lesser, higher, and King grade. There are several types of them…
…
These are the currently available products in the store," Aakesh concluded the basic introduction of all six products.
