Chapter 545
When Aakesh had exited the portal in the garden, there was only a distance of three thousand km between him and the stairs. It took Aakesh seven months to cross that distance due to all the restrictions and attacks at every block.
After reaching the last spot containing grey-colored light dots, Aakesh found no such block in the upcoming distance to the stair. He was currently sixteen meters away from the stair, so after traveling for seven months, he had minimally reduced the effect of restrictions on him. He could now see more than twenty meters when Energy Overseer was active, unlike earlier when his limit was ten meters.
Aakesh jumping distance had also grown after traveling for seven months, as now he could jump over four blocks in comparison to one meter.
The distance between the block he stood on and the second step was sixteen blocks, and since Aakesh could jump four of them at once, Aakesh needed to leap four times. Which sounded easy, but Aakesh knew they were not.
As Aakesh got closer to the stair, the attacking power of the different kinds of elements in the area rose severalfold.
Previously Aakesh could defend himself with his bare body, but now he needed to activate Counter Shield at its full power.
Since there was no way to let go of facing four attacks if he wanted to reach the stair, Aakesh decided not to wait anymore and took a jump to his left.
Even though the distance between him and the stair remained the same no matter what direction Aakesh chose to go ahead, the elements contained in the blocks were different.
Aakesh chose the one with purple-colored light dots. His reason for choosing such despite there being weaker elements on the other sides was that on the three further jumps Aakesh needed to take, he would jump on the blocks containing blue-colored light dots, which was the gentlest of the lot, and it would also take him less time to cross them.
“RUMBLE!”
“RUMBLE!”
“RUMBLE!”
As soon as Aakesh stepped on the block, he heard a loud rumble coming from the sky.
Every block had its own isolated space, so whenever Aakesh stepped on them, it would feel like he had entered a new world.
Aakesh found himself standing on nothing as thunder surrounded him.
Since it was like another world, Aakesh couldn’t see anything beyond the isolated space the block contained.
Aakesh had already gotten used to it, so he made his move.
Using his jump as steps, he charged at the thunder gathering in the sky.
Even though there were still restrictions on him, the strength he could gather on his leg had grown to such an extent that he could now jump several thousands of meters even with an additional restriction with ease.
The thunder sensing someone approaching it felt raged as it threw a thunder strike toward Aakesh.
Aakesh felt extreme danger from the upcoming thunderstrike. For a moment, a thought of dodging it appeared in his head, but Aakesh could sense that it wasn’t possible to avoid the strike as it had the following capability.
Aakesh covered himself with Counter Shield and put all his strength into his legs, and jumped like a spring does after someone finally frees it after pushing it.
“Rumble!”
For a moment, the sound released by his jumping speed overpowered the thunder rumbling in the sky.
The thunder sensing extreme danger from Aakesh, threw several thunderstrikes at Aakesh.
Aakesh skillfully dodged them as his goal for the moment was to kill the mastermind and then face these strikes.
Aakesh raised his hands and flew past the thunder.
Soon Aakesh started descending since it was only a jump, not floating, but this time, Aakesh had something in his hand.
The thunderstrikes chased Aakesh as he descended, but Aakesh currently had his focus on the snake struggling in his hands. The snake was made up of nothing but thunder s it flailed and hissed at Aakesh.
Aakesh had a cold expression on his face. After entering this world, he had truly faced several life-threatening situations, which made him further detached from life. Aakesh coldly crushed the snake made of thunder into nothingness using the element of Nihility.
“Crack!”
Aakesh finally focused on tens of strikes attacking his shield. Cracks started spreading across it since the power released by them was no joke.
Aakesh indifferently stared at the thunderstrikes as he created seventy-four Apocalyptic Blasts simultaneously to match the number of thunder strikes.
“BOOM!”
“BOOM!”
“BOOM!”
The next moment, successive explosions rang in the area as the numerous Apocalyptic Blast clashed with thunderstrikes.
Aakesh was immune to the force released by the explosion of Apocalyptic Blast, but there were also extremely powerful thunderstrikes here which affected Aakesh.
In no time, the shield surrounding Aakesh disintegrated, but before it could entirely disappear, Aakesh created another.
Aakesh repeated the process as explosions continuously sounded and destroyed the shield around him.
Time flew by.
Aakesh eyes fell on the last block he needed to step on before stepping on the second step.
The block consisted of green-colored light dots.
Aakesh took a jump and not long after landed on the block, soon finding himself in a jungle.
Aakesh didn’t even wait for the attack to come his way as he bombarded the forest with full-powered Apocalyptic Blasts.
“Argh!”
“UGH!”
“ARGH!”
Different kinds of groans rang in the area as the Apocalyptic Blast engulfed the forest. Every tree, plant, or weed in the jungle was alive and was very powerful, which would have made it the most difficult block for Aakesh since it was the closest to the stair.
But instead, the block proved to be the easiest to destroy since he had Apocalyptic Blasts that didn’t affect him and had supreme elements in it, which destroyed everything in its path.
Soon, the entire forest was burned to disintegration even before any of the flora and fauna here could attack him.
Since Aakesh had killed the primary enemy, the isolated space around him started dissolving.
Not long after, Aakesh returned to the block next to the second step of the stair.
Aakesh had an expressionless face as he raised his right foot and stepped on the second step. The next moment, he found himself in an unfamiliar area.
