Chapter 532

Lily’s rest after training for a year finally came to an end as her eyes opened.

She then turned around and found Aakesh sitting on his chair with a look of pondering on his face.

“What are you thinking?” Lily couldn’t help but ask as she stretched her tiny body.

“About this continent,” A smile spread across Aakesh’s face as he heard a childlike voice in his ears. He then stopped thinking and looked at Lily.

“What?” Lily asked.

“You will find out in the future,” Aakesh smilingly replied. He then stood up from his chair and grabbed Lily stretching on her chair. Lily attempted to free herself, but it resulted in nothing.

“Should we leave?” Aakesh suddenly asked, resulting in a sudden stop in Lily’s actions.

She understood where Aakesh was asking to leave. “Okay, I have no problem,” Lily answered. For entering that unknown place, Aakesh had made her suffer a year of excessive training, so how could she not be ready?

Aakesh nodded, hearing the affirmative from Lily. He only asked because there were still a few hours left in the rest day before it came to an end, so Aakesh didn’t want to leave without asking for Lily’s permission at that point.

Autumn, who had also been sleeping, had her ears perked, and her eyes opened up since she wanted to depart them. The world created by the ruler was unknown to Katrina, who was in the inner council so Autumn could feel a sense of deep dread toward the world.

Autumn wasn’t confident whether Aakesh and Lily would come out or not since she had seen the strength of the ruler in person, so she wanted to see Lily entering the portal.

Autumn had put her hopes on Aakesh and trained him for more than a century, hoping that he would make them leave the Conspiracy continent. But since nothing was sure to happen and things may go sideways, she didn’t get too fixed on the exit idea, unlike Katrina, who was in her deep sleep, only to awaken when Aakesh would reach the ruler’s continent.

There was a restriction on Aakesh and Lily, so they had to travel on foot, but since the point was only a few hundred miles away from where they trained, the distance was very short.

“Let’s go,” Aakesh then put Lily on top of his head and mumbled as it was now the time to enter the unknown, from where none had ever succeeded in leaving.

Before leaving, Aakesh asked the system to take back the chair he and Lily had. The system had provided it during those past training years since Aakesh had grown comfortable with only those chairs. He then took a step forward.

It wasn’t Aakesh, who moved in the space, but it was the space that moved with Aakesh.

It looked like the space was pushing him forward with every step Aakesh took.

Autumn also stood up from her chair after seeing Aakesh had left for the point. She couldn’t help but release a wry smile since he didn’t even come to say bye to them even though they had trained together for more than 180 years.

Since this was a territory belonging exclusively to Katrina, who was a central ruler, and Autumn was also a central ruler, Autumn had restrictions on her.

Fortunately for her, the distance toward the point wasn’t outside her range of teleportation, so Autumn disappeared from the spot and appeared a few meters away from the entry point the next moment.

It would still take some time before Aakesh arrived, so Autumn silently stood there. She could feel the rejection of the entry point since it was Katrina’s territory, not her, and if she wanted to enter the ruler’s place from this point, she would’ve to kill Katrina and gain control of this piece of land.

One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed, and just like that, forty-seven seconds had passed.

Autumn could see that Aakesh was only a few steps away from her.

Half a second later, as expected, Aakesh appeared in front of Autumn.

Aakesh didn’t seem surprised after noticing Autumn since he could guess the reason behind her appearing here was not him but the lovely tiny creature on his head.

“Autumn, what are you doing here?” Lily asked Autumn after noticing her.

“I came to see you, ancestor,” Autumn answered.

“So, this is the entry point,” Lily mumbled as Aakesh stood in front of the point.

“Yes, ancestor. Beware, no one has ever passed this world,” Autumn concerningly told Lily.

“You don’t have to worry Aakesh is with me,” Lily replied in her childlike voice as she could see the concern Autumn had for her.

“You only need to worry about leaving this dark place,” Lily further commented as she looked toward the sky filled with nothing but darkness.

Aakesh, on the other hand, ignored the conversation between Lily and Autumn as he was thinking about something else.

“Hey, system, return the proactive protection mode to reactive protection mode,” Aakesh suddenly requested the system as after the Lily fell asleep and the appearance of Katrina, Aakesh had changed the protection mode.

Now that Lily had grown several times more powerful than before, Aakesh thought it was the correct time to revert her protection mode to reactive. Since she was going to enter an unknown world filled with danger, continuing the proactive mode would be too expensive to even think about.

[Host, the protection mode has been reverted back to reactive!]

The next moment, the system’s mechanical and emotionless voice rang inside Aakesh’s head.

Aakesh only nodded and focused on the point.

Even though he had started to affect resistance around him due to his century long training with Katrina and Autumn, now that he stood in front of the point, he couldn’t see anything special about it as if he had returned to his ordinary phase.

Fortunately for Aakesh, he had a thing for these kinds of situations.

[Skill Name: Energy Overseer,

Ability: This skill will help you identify the value of a product based on its energy signature. No energy in the world can be hidden from your eyes.]

Aakesh then activated the skill, Energy Overseer, for the first time since he had rarely come across such situations.
