Chapter 497
Aakesh ignored Katrina and looked at Lily, engulfed in a blob of light.
Aakesh was waiting for Lily’s breakthrough to come to an end, and then he would enter the world inside the point.
“Is there a time difference-” Aakesh suddenly had a question related to the world, but he stopped midway as he already knew what Katrina was going to answer.
“Are you two alone who came here from the outside world?” Katrina suddenly asked, breaking the silence.
“No, there were many who entered before me as for after that, I don’t know much,” Aakesh expressionlessly answered. His eyes were still fixated on Lily.
“Doesn’t that mean I am making the deal without finding any better contestant who could help me get outside?” Katrina asked another question.
Aakesh didn’t move his eyes away from Lily and answered, “No. Only three beings stronger than me had entered the portal before me, and none of them would’ve any interest in helping you get outside. In fact, they would want to kill you.”
Aakesh was talking about the Void beasts that had entered the portal.
Aakesh didn’t know the exact strength of the Void beasts, so he assumed them to be stronger than him in the battle. Only then would it be fun when he defeated them.
Katrina looked at Aakesh in suspicion, but not even a tiny change in his expression happened. His heartbeat and breath remained steady.
She then moved her eyes away and believed in what Aakesh had informed her. Soon a round of silence fell on the area as none of the trio spoke after that.
“How should we meet at the ruler’s territory?” Katrina suddenly asked, breaking the silence.
It was the most significant point in the deal she made with Aakesh. If she helped Aakesh there, he would help her get out of this continent. If she ignored Aakesh and let him do everything, she was sure that Aakesh wouldn’t survive, and her chances to get out of the continent would become more challenging, according to what she learned from Aakesh.
“Why don’t you enter the world inside the dot with me?” Aakesh suddenly asked.
“Do you take me for a fool?” Katrina retorted right away.
She wanted to leave the continent, but that doesn’t mean she would enter a world where she knew nothing about it.
Autumn also shook her head, showing her refusal. Lily was her ancestor, but for her, Autumn wouldn’t enter an uncharted territory from where none had ever returned.
Aakesh had expected the same response from Autumn and Katrina, so he wasn’t surprised. He then fell into a dilemma since he couldn’t defeat the restrictions on him and ways to contact Autumn and Katrina when he successfully passed the world and appeared in the ruler’s territory.
“Hey, system, can you do something to help me break off the restrictions and contact Autumn and Katrina?” Since Aakesh had no answer, he decided to ask the system for help.
[Host, the system could help you. But it won’t be free.]
The next moment, the emotionless and mechanical response of the system rang inside Aakesh’s head.
“What price?” Aakesh asked the system since he already knew that the system wouldn’t help him for free.
[Since the task isn’t daunting. You have two options to pay the price.]
[First, you can let go of the commission of every store product for a year.]
[Second, you can return any of the skills provided by the system to the system.]
The next moment, the system presented two options for the price Aakesh had to pay if he wanted the system’s help.
The choices weren’t tough to make, so Aakesh selected the option straight away.
“Hey, system, I would let go of my commission for a year,” Aakesh told his selected option to the system.
Aakesh rarely stepped out of the store, so he rarely spent any money, and since he still had quite an amount due to the commissions he had earned these days, Aakesh didn’t need to think much before making his decision.
[Host, check your system space.]
Aakesh did as the system instructed and checked his system space. The next moment, he found three blue-colored square cards.
[Host, the card will allow you to bypass the continent’s restriction once, and you will then be able to contact the owner of the other cards once.]
The system then informed Aakesh of the function of the blue-colored cards.
Aakesh then took out the cards from his system space. The card was bland on one side, and on the other side, there was a zigzag pattern just like on the store’s superior and supreme card.
“Take it. When I pass the world and enter the ruler’s territory, I will contact you,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Katrina and Autumn and handed them their respective cards.
“It doesn’t look anything special,” Katrina commented as she checked the card.
Aakesh ignored her and returned to watching Lily until she completed her breakthrough.

“I will be waiting for you,” A figure seated in the dark commented with a playful tone.

“How long do you think it would take him to clear the world created by your daughter?” Lilith asked the figure seated in the dark.
There was currently a screen showing everything that happened around Aakesh was playing.
“I would give him an audience if he passes the world in less than fifty years,” The figure answered.
If Ronald were here, he would’ve recognized the voice as the same as his master.
Lilith got surprised, hearing the answer the figure gave. She never expected the figure to grant audience to Aakesh.
Her curiosity in Aakesh became even greater since she sensed that there was something special about him that she didn’t know.

“Ugh, Is this the end?” Norman groaned in pain and asked as he looked at the sky covered in darkness.
There was a deep gash spread across his chest, and it showed his punctured heart, and blood continuously streamed out of it, dying the ground black with hints of silver in it.
Next to him, a creature several times his size lay there with half its face was gone, while the other half was in condition to be recognized.
“Father, it’s all on you,” Norman complained and lost his consciousness, unaware that a green blob of light appeared and engulfed the entirety of him.
