Chapter 494

Katrina was the most powerful of the three. But after the sudden appearance of the pair of eyes in the sky, the dynamics around them had changed. Even though Katrina could kill Aakesh without much effort, in her heart after the emergence, even she started to believe that Aakesh was the strongest.

“Yes, all the central rulers can meet her anytime we want, but for you to meet her, it isn’t easy,” Autumn answered, ignoring Katrina’s actions as usual.

“Why?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked.

“Ruler lives at the edge of this continent, and the distance is too much to be covered even when you used space jump continuously,” Autumn answered. “We have a key that would directly teleport us to here, but the key wouldn’t accept anyone other than the central ruler,” Autumn further added and informed Aakesh of the reason behind the central rules meeting the person with ease.

“How much is the distance?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked, unfazed with Autumn’s response.

“I don’t know,” Autumn answered with an embarrassed face. She had no interest in traveling across the continent, so she never found any piece of information related to that. In fact, this journey with Lily was Autumn’s first time leaving her territory.

“I know,” Katrina, pouting on the ground, suddenly stood up and chimed in.

“I even know the exact location, where the ruler lives,” Katrina proudly proclaimed. She was impressed with herself for knowing the exact location of the ruler since she was one of the very few creatures on the Conspiracy continent who knew this.

Aakesh looked at Katrina while Autumn stared at her in surprise.

“Are you in the inner council?” Autumn asked the question with a look of pure shock on her face.

“Yes, now you know the difference between you and me,” Katrina proudly answered. The previous anger and disappointment for Aakesh and Autumn ignoring her were nowhere to be seen.

The inner council was the highest organized committee of the Conspiracy continent. It was headed by the ruler, while there were six other central rulers seated in that.

There would only be seven members on it at any time, and they would be the most powerful of all of the central rulers on the continent.

The inner council only had one work to do; it was to implement whatever was ordered by the ruler by hook or crook.

Only those six members of the inner council knew the exact location of the ruler. If any new member were to replace the old member, the ruler would take away the memories of anything related to the ruler from the member.

“What is the inner council?” Aakesh couldn’t help but ask, hearing the shock in Autumn’s voice.

A grin spread across Katrina’s face, and she ignored Aakesh.

“The inner council…,” Autumn came out of her shock and told everything about the inner council to him.

“Don’t you want to leave this continent and enter the world I come from?” Aakesh asked Katrina after getting the answer from Autumn.

Like a child, Katrina wanted to ignore Aakesh, for he ignored her when she asked questions, but her desire to leave got the better of her, and she solemnly nodded.

The only reason she had put up with Aakesh’s disrespecting attitude of ignoring her was her desire to get outside, or she would’ve already attacked him previously. Even though she stood at the top of the food chain on this continent, she still wanted to go outside since there was a new unexperienced world beyond this continent, and she didn’t want to miss that. The other reason was that there were only two figures who had overwhelming strength above her, and she would never be able to catch up with them, no matter what she tried, so to grow more, she had no choice but to go outside.

“Let’s make a deal. You help me, and I will help you in leaving this continent,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Katrina. His tone was full of majesty, as if the refusal wasn’t an option.

“Go on,” Katrina responded as she was interested in such a deal.

“My goal is to prove my conjectures. Help me until the end, and when I exit this world, I will take you with me,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Katrina.

Before entering here, the only reason he had was excitement and enjoyment since it was a dimension scale event, and now that he had his conjectures, he had a goal for continuing his journey till the end.

“What are your conjectures?” Katrina asked. She finally got the answers for the sudden extreme reaction of Aakesh after he had casually mentioned ‘He’.

“That you don’t need to know,” Aakesh straight away refused as he had no plans to share them with anyone.

“You!” Katrina flared up, seeing Aakesh refusing to tell her. Her temperament was like a child who only got angry because she didn’t get the things she wanted.

“I won’t tell you anything unless I prove my conjectures, so there is no point in getting over it,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Katrina, showing he had no interest in budging.

Seeing Aakesh’s stubbornness, Katrina stopped asking any questions related to his conjectures. She then took a deep breath and asked the second question lingering in her mind, “Are we going to fight the ruler?”

“Maybe!” Aakesh replied. He knew the ruler was too strong for him to fight after hearing from Autumn and Katrina, but he had no choice but to go and fight her if the situation arose in the future. As for his and Lily’s death, he had no worries since it was never an issue. He had the system with him. He only needed to pay some price, and he was secure from any kind of death.

Aakesh’s reply brought a look of shock on both Autumn and Katrina’s faces. Katrina was the first one to get over it. A smile spread across her face as she muttered, “Interesting!”

The next moment, the smile disappeared from her face, and it turned solemn. She then asked another question, “What about ‘Him’? Do we need to fight ‘Him’ as well?” Katrina still maintained the amount of respect whenever she mentioned the creator of the Conspiracy continent and the lives inhabiting it.
