Chapter 368 – Close
Only three hours were left until the end of the store for the day.
Aakesh called the quest screen again. The next moment, two screens containing details and the progress of the quest appeared in front of him.
Aakesh ignored the detail screen and directly focused on the progress screen.
[…, number of weapons sold: (9429/10,000,]
If Aakesh wanted to complete the quest today, the store needed to sell 571 more weapons. While Aakesh was thinking, there was a change on the progress screen; the number increased by one and took the total count to 9430.
Aakesh couldn\'t personally interfere in the sales, and there was also not much time, so for now, the quest didn\'t give any indication of getting completed today.
Aakesh could only hope that enough customers get interested in the store. He then thought of the screens disappearing, and the next moment, both detail and progress screen dissipated into emptiness.

After buying a rare-grade saber from the store, Gordon had been in a joyous mood these days.
(A/N: If you don\'t remember the character, please refer to chapter 188.)
Since he worked in an ordinary training area, there were several of the tutors who were not from well-to-do families like him. The saber he had bought from the luxurious and mysterious store not only helped him show-off, but it had also allowed him to grow in rank.
In recent days, his popularity had grown, which allowed him to gain more students. In only the past week, he had earned the amount he used to make in a couple of months.
"Tell us, Gordon, how could you change so much?" A fellow tutor asked Gordon since it was their free time. The other tutors also eagerly nodded in response to the question. They also had the same question in their minds; it was just that they didn\'t dare to ask.
Gordon\'s popularity in the training area had begun threatening their stable earnings. Several of the tutors had heard their student\'s discussions about switching to Gordon after the month was over.
An embarrassed smile appeared on Gordon\'s face, hearing the question and seeing the look of eagerness on his fellow tutor\'s face to know the answer.
Gordon believed the saber to be the reason behind his growth, so for a moment, he didn\'t want to tell the reason to his fellow workers. But after thinking for a few seconds, Gordon decided to reveal it as there was no point hiding it, and it wasn\'t a big secret. If not for his boss, he would\'ve never reached this position.
"It\'s the reason behind my sudden success," The next moment, Gordon unsheathed his saber and told his fellow workers while gently and carefully caressing the saber.
The group of tutors didn\'t believe Gordon as there wasn\'t much difference between their weapons and Gordon\'s. The only difference was Gordon\'s was new, while theirs wasn\'t.
"It\'s up to you whether you want to believe me or not," Gordon understood their reactions, so he commented. He then put the saber back inside its sheath.

"Wait, isn\'t this the store where the store owner killed several people," One of the tutors asked in shock, seeing the store Gordon had brought them to.
Those rumors were still fresh in the minds of the ordinary citizens of the Bisan Kingdom. Even though the new King had prohibited them to publicly talk bad about the store owner and the store, the citizens still felt afraid, as the King speaking had increased the fear in the hearts of the citizens rather than creating prestige.
"Shh, lower your voice. If someone heard you, you would implicate all of us," The other tutor in the group nudged the fellow and whispered.
The fellow subconsciously covered his mouth so that something like this wouldn\'t happen again.
"If the store owner killed them, there must be a reason for it," Gordon commented. From what he could see, the store owner acted nonchalantly and didn\'t interfere with anyone when he had entered the store.
"Follow me!" He then told the group and took the step inside the store.
When they heard about the weapon, the tutors didn\'t believe Gordon. But their boss was present today, and he had heard the tutors talking about it, so he had told them to check the weapons as the better the tutors, the more his business would grow and the more number of Primal stones he would make.
Since it was also their boss\'s suggestion, they pushed their fears aside and followed Gordon into the store.
Upon entering the store, their eyes fell on the blue-skinned store owner renowned for committing murder on the first day of the opening of the store.
"Go and talk to the store owner," They nudged Gordon to approach the store owner. Even though they pushed their fears aside before entering the store, they still didn\'t have any guts to approach the renowned store owner.
Gordon couldn\'t help but smile wryly, hearing his fellow workers and seeing their expressions. Since he had conversed with the store owner once, he accepted the tutor\'s words and approached Aakesh.

Aakesh sensed footsteps approaching him, so he opened his eyes and found a familiar customer coming toward him.
"Senior, we want to buy weapons," Gordon respectfully stated his purpose for approaching Aakesh.
"One person can only buy a single weapon in a month, and since your month isn\'t over, only your friends can buy them," Aakesh expressionlessly told Gordon.
Gordon was unaware of the limit on the weapon sale, but since he wasn\'t here to buy one, it wasn\'t a problem for him.
"Thank you, store owner," Gordon then thanked Aakesh, and seeing that Aakesh gave no response, he returned to the group.
"Let\'s go!" Gordon told the group and took a step in the direction of the weapons room.
The group members heaved a sigh of relief, seeing that they didn\'t need to approach the store owner. They then followed Gordon.
Time flew by, and several minutes had passed.
"Here is my sum," The tutor told Gordon and handed him the amount for the sword.
Workers wanted to stay away from Aakesh, so they gave Gordon the cost of their weapons and told him to complete the deal.
