Chapter 314 - Destruction(1)
The arrow weighed an unimaginable amount, but for Aakesh, he felt nothing. The same couldn\'t be said for the land upon which Aakesh was standing.
The radius of one mile around Aakesh began sinking at a visible rate.
Since the training area didn\'t allow Aakesh to fly, he knew he couldn\'t wait anymore.
He nocked the arrow on the bowstring and stretched it using his right hand, only to stop when the bowstring touched his nose.
The scene looked weird since the arrow had around the same thickness as Aakesh, while it was two times taller than him. The bow also grew around four times the height of him to accommodate the arrow.
Not even a second had passed since the appearance of the arrow, and still, the land had sunk a few meters, tens of thousands of spearmen had already died due to the pressure released by the arrow. The shield men were still unharmed, but the same couldn\'t be said for their shields.
Even though Aakesh hadn\'t released the arrow, the pressure alone had created numerous cracks on several of the shields.
The land was continuously sinking, so Aakesh decided not to wait and release the arrow.
He aimed the bow at the sky and was only going to release the bowstring when suddenly he changed the direction of the bow to his left.
"Jehejejee!"
A burst of weird laughter suddenly erupted in the area as Aakesh released the arrow.
"Jejeje!"
There was another round of weird laughter as the arrow collided with the person Aakesh had aimed at.
Aakesh was going to release the arrow in the sky to kill all the soldiers on the ground. But just when he was going to do it, he felt danger coming at him from the left.
Aakesh didn\'t have to think much as it was the same person who had stopped the land from splitting just a meter away from the fort.
"Hmph!"
The next moment, a scoff rang in the area as a white flash tried to destroy the beast head.
"Jejehehehe!"
The beast head, in response, erupted in a peal of eerier laughter, making all the soldiers shudder in fear.
The next moment, the arrow began expanding.
"Rumble!"
The sky began rumbling as it feared the augment of what was coming next.
Not even a second had passed when the arrow had expanded almost tens of times. The strange patterns engraved on the shaft began appearing on the beast head while the dark scales started melting into the bull-like horns of the beast.
Aakesh was also finally able to see the being that had clashed with his arrow. Yesterday, Aakesh had died without even seeing his opponent. But now, seeing the being in front of him, Aakesh was confident that it was the same person, as the white flash gave him a sense of familiarity.
The being in front of him belonged to one of the divine races in the Sacred dimension.
He had four hands, three legs, and one head with two curved tiny horns. The being had a pair of pupil-less eyes, with the dark red sclera, a mouth with no teeth, but a fork-like tongue.
The being belonged to a race called Yultes. It was a medium-tier race, exclusive to the Sacred dimension.
They had a top-notch talent when it came to swordplay. The Yultes were very few in numbers when it came to their population, and they also couldn\'t ascend to the third dimension, so they were only considered a medium-tier race.
Each hand of the Yultes carried a different kind of sword, signifying his level of attainment. Even a double-handed sword was used as a single-handed sword. Such was the talent and strength the Yultes have.
With each swing of his four different swords, a white flash emerged and attempted to cut the beast that was still expanding in half.
The strength and sharpness of the white flash depended upon the kind of sword he used in the swing. For example, the greatsword the Yultes carried in his upper left hand released a white flash, thicker and heavier than all the three flashes released by the other three swords.
No matter what kind of slash the Yultes used, the beast continued expanding while the laughter turned eerier with time.
The soldiers that had been shuddering in fear just a moment earlier were now trembling. Soon they began crashing down the ground as their eyes turned lifeless.
The shields the shield men carried couldn\'t help them escape laughter, so even they had the same fate as the spearmen.
It was the best time for Aakesh to kill the spearmen and shieldmen, but he wasn\'t able to shoot.
The arrow Aakesh used was the third strongest arrow in his arsenal in this training area. It was also the only chanting arrow Aakesh could use while continuously shooting other arrows and still chanting the mantra.
The chanted arrow Aakesh shot was only an inferior version of the Primordial level arrow, [Redacted].
(A/N: I want the readers to name the arrow after reading about its ability.)
If Aakesh were to shoot this inferior version arrow in the Visteerna, It would absolutely destroy one-fourth of the Anga continent. If he aimed at universes far from Visteerna, it would absolutely disintegrate several universes simultaneously.
As much as its destruction range was, it also had a disadvantage. The archer who shot the arrow wouldn\'t be able to do anything when the arrow was in existence. Only after its destruction, or completion of its purpose, the archer would be able to do things.

Finally, when the beast head had grown to the size of a small world, did it stop expanding.
"Jejejjejeje!"
The eerie laughter echoed once again. This time, the corpses of the soldiers that had crashed on the ground scattered like sand on the battlefield.
Even the Yultes found his movements becoming sluggish, as an illusion of him being eaten by the same beast head emerged in his mind.
"Hmph!" The Yultes scoffed, and the next moment, the illusion disappeared, and the Yultes regained his usual movement speed.
The next moment, a look of pure horror appeared on his face, as something he hadn\'t expected happened.
The beast head, who had been continuously laughing eerily, suddenly stopped and opened its mouth full wide.
