Chapter 531: Second Jing Brother Almost Collapsed
Chapter 531: Second Jing Brother Almost Collapsed
Jing Yiran was not aware of the fact that he had already entered Yang Muyan’s horizon. Nor did he know that Yang Muyan had changed her identity to be able to roam around freely.
He had thought that Yang Muyan had hidden herself to cook up a secret plan, fearing that she would be killed by Jing Yichen.
That was what Jing Yichen thought as well, because he had got no results after searching for Yang Muyan for a long time.
Jing Yichen had actually considered that Yang Muyan might have changed her appearance. But if she really did, he did not have an effective method to find her, unless she did something that would draw his attention.
Yang Muyan had remained hidden during the past two months. She had done nothing out of the ordinary and that made people think that she was gathering forces to do something big.
That was exactly what Yang Muyan wanted to do.
Jing Yiran had gotten impatient on the walking street, because Lu was unused to the crowd. She looked pale and seemed rather uncomfortable.
For some reason, Jing Yiran felt extremely concerned for her.
He gave Lu a small hug, ignoring the flirty look of numerous women around him and asked in a low voice, “How are you feeling? Are you alright? What about finding a place to sit down. I can go to Yang Muyan, myself.”
“No need.” Lu shook her head softly, “I will go with you.”
She paused and then said with hesitation, “My energy is draining out, and the other Lu might replace me in such a crowded environment. So if I pass out, don’t get surprised.”
Jing Yiran was surprised. He had not expected that taking Lu out would lead to such consequences.
If the other innocent Lu showed up to replace the present Lu, then it would be Jing Yiran’s turn to protect her instead of the other way around.
The other Lu was capable, but she did not know how to use it. Her intelligence level was that of a kid.
While Jing Yiran was busy being anxious, someone bumped into him.
Before Jing Yiran could swear at him, he found a paper ball stuffed into his hands.
The person lost himself in the crowd and disappeared.
Ignoring the man, Jing Yiran opened the paper ball and saw an address written on it.
He ran towards that address with Lu immediately.
Yang Muyan saw Jing Yiran leaving the spot as she stood on the second floor. She put down the coffee cup elegantly, and put on a large pair of Dior sunglasses. She picked up an exquisite parasol, grabbed a small white leather bag and walked out of the cosmetics store gracefully.
There were numerous women dressed in the same way as Yang Muyan on the walking street. They might not have an amazingly beautiful appearance, yet they carried a parasol with them, wore a pair of sunglasses, and held a small bag, making Yang Muyan one of them.
Jing Yiran reached an underground coffee store following the address.
There were many coffee stores on the walking street and most of them were situated underground, because the rent was much lower there and the environment much quieter, suitable for couples to take a rest.
Jing Yiran reserved a place at the coffee store and brought Lu inside.
It was very quiet and only two of them were here. Gentle music started to float about, and the scent of coffee was all around. Soon, Lu relaxed and looked much better.
But it was because of this quiet environment that made her pass out in Jing Yiran’s arms.
Jing Yiran panicked and called out to her anxiously, “Lu!”
Lu opened her eyes drowsily and asked with widened eyes when she saw Jing Yiran’s face, “Second Brother?!”
Jing Yiran’s heart sunk.
Only the fourteen-year-old Lu would call him Second Brother.
Lu got up and surveyed the environment. She looked at him in confusion and asked, “Second Brother, where are we? Why am I here? I remember....Ah, I remember nothing! My head aches!”
The two versions of Lu did not share the same memory. Each would know what they were confronted with individually but never knew what the other Lu was facing. That was one of the shortcomings of split personalities.
Jing Yiran could not help but laugh bitterly at the sight of Lu in this status.
He truly doubted if there was anyone else in this world who had gone through the same experience as he was undergoing. It felt as if he was in a relationship with two people.
He had no special feeling towards this young Lu. He only regarded her as his sister.
But he was always reminded of the other Lu when he saw this face.
That made Jing Yiran feel extremely troubled.
If he became Lu’s real boyfriend, what would he do if such a situation happened?!
For example, if when they were driven by desire and about to kiss, the other Lu disappeared and this Lu appeared, should he continue with the kisses or become the Second Brother?
He had a desire to kiss the other Lu ,yet for this fourteen-year-old Lu, he truly could not give her a kiss even if they had the same face.
Should she be counted as one person or two under such a situation?! Was she going to be like this throughout her life?
Second Brother found himself troubled. Why must he run into such a difficult situation?
What on earth had he done in his previous life that he had to receive such a punishment in his present life?
Seeing the man’s contorted face, Lu could not help but say in concern, “Second Brother, are you having a cramp in your stomach? I can massage it for you. Sister Shangguan says that a touch on the stomach would make it okay again.”
Not a cramp in the stomach, but a pain in the head!
“Second Brother, I don’t think that you should hold me in this way. Sister Shangguan says that women and men are different and no one apart from my husband should hold me like this.”
What the hell! You are a 14 years old girl. What do you know about women and men?
Shangguan Ning was such a sinister woman who kept brainwashing Lu. Why did she keep mentioning Sister Shangguan all the time?
“Second Brother, do you have... candies? I am hungry and I want a lollipop with mango flavour. Please give me candies and I will let you touch me. I won’t tell Sister Shangguan about it, alright?”
Jing Yiran felt that he would die of torture tortured by Lu before Yang Muyan even arrived.
“No, shut up!”
Jing Yiran bellowed. He could not stand it any more.
But Lu was not scared of him. She jumped off and said with displeasure, “You want to hug me without even giving me any candy. Sister Mi is right. You men are all bastards. You never take responsibility!”
Jing Yiran was almost choked by the hot coffee sip which he had just taken.
