Chapter 413: Out of Family Jing (Part One)
Shangguan Ning put a slice of orange into Jing Yichen’s mouth and blinked. “Ji Bo has had many girls running after him, some on campus, models, stars, all of them were beautiful and full of charisma. But he didn’t say yes to anyone simply because none of them could help him in his career. He always aimed at finding a fitting partner – he only wanted a girl from an influential family, irrespective of her appearance.”
Jing Yichen finished the orange, leafed through the medical book and said in composure, “You are right. He has married a lady from a wealthy family, even if the family doesn’t exist anymore. That Lan Yu is actually Yang Muyan, the eldest lady of Family Yang.”
Shangguan Ning was startled and burst out. “Lan Yu is Yang Muyan?”
She had heard about Yang Muyan. As a matter of fact, everyone in Family A knew about Yang Muyan but the person she had met didn’t fit her description.
Jing Yichen recounted the story to Shangguan Ning in brief and she was shocked.
He told his wife the truth because he wanted her to stay away and protect herself against that woman. Shangguan Ning may have difficulty in dealing with Yang Muyan as Ji Bo’s wife in the future, if she really came to Shangguan Ning for something.
The couple were just talking when Jing Yichen’s cell phone rang.
He picked it up and the Butler’s voice came through. “Elder Master, could you come home right now? The Old Master wants to drive Second Master out of Family Jing and the old lady is protesting against it. She is even hitting the old Master! The Old Lord is still at Lord Mu’s residence and I dare not inform him about this.”
Jing Yichen’s face turned cold after hearing this. He said, “Got it. I will be there soon.”
Shangguan Ning had got a general idea of what happened. She sat up and said with a serious face, “Yichen, let me go with you.”
Jing Yichen hung up and said gently to her, “No need. Wait for me at home. I will be back soon.”
He was worried that Shangguan Ning might get hurt if Jing Yiran went crazy.
It was ok for anyone to get hurt except for Shangguan Ning at the moment!
He didn’t want her to take any risk.
Jing Yichen got off the bed, changed and kissed Shangguan Ning’s forehead as he consoled her, “Don’t worry, all will be fine. Stay at home and be safe. Lu and Lee Duo are both outside. Call them if you need anything.”
Shangguan Ning nodded but felt uneasy seeing him walk away.
How come Jing Yiran was being driven out of Family Jing?
Jing Yiran went scot-free when Shen Lingbing was killed. What happened suddenly that Jing Zhongxiu wants to give up on Jing Yiran, completely?
Jing Yiran had been involved with what happened in the villa a couple of days ago. But he was discreet enough to stay away from Shangguan Ning and Zhao Anan. None of those dead men belonged to him. They were all there on behalf of Tang Yun and Shangguan Rouxue.
Therefore, Jing Zhongxiu couldn’t blame him without any proof. What Jing Zhongxiu had done was to confiscate one of his properties and he was not really that furious.
After all, he was not the culprit. He was just a participant.
Jing Yichen came to Family Jing with Tiger, within no time.
It was very intense in the living room, with Jing Zhongxiu standing right in the middle and a clear handprint visible on his face.
Apparently, Mo Lan had slapped him.
Blood was oozing out of Jing Yiran’s lips. He was lying on the ground whilst Mo Lan was crying hard with him in arms.
“Ran, are you alright? Don’t scare me, say something!”
Jing Yiran felt that Jing Zhongxiu had shattered his inner organs. He was about to say something when he spat out a mouthful of blood.
Mo Lan got so frightened that her face paled. She said as her lips trembled. “Butler, call the doctor. Ran is seriously injured.”
Jing Zhongxiu said coldly, “No need, just let him die!”
The Butler stood frozen. He didn’t know whom to obey.
The Old Master and the Old Lady were giving contradictory orders at the same time. He didn’t know whom to follow. He dared not carry out anyone’s command.
Hopefully he had made the correct decision to get Jing Yichen here.
Jing Yichen walked into the living room and everyone present there just looked at him briefly before getting back to the explosive situation.
“Ran is your son! Talk, don’t hit! He is made of flesh, not iron. He has been hit by Chen ever since they were young and now you are hitting him too. Are you forcing him to die? You are hitting me when you hit Ran. I raised him!”
Mo Lan held Jing Yiran’s head and cried hard. Her eyes had swelled up.
If Jing Yiran had not been so seriously hit, she would not have slapped Jing Zhongxiu. She was really annoyed.
Jing Zhongxiu looked at Mo Lan and Jing Yiran coldly. He couldn’t control his anger anymore.
He bellowed furiously, “I only have one son – Jing Yichen! You brought Jing Yiran into this world and raised him. I have nothing to do with it. From today on, he will be out of Family Jing to never return. He is not a Jing. He will not be allowed to keep the name.”
“Why can’t my grandson be called Jing? No matter what mistake he has made, he will be my grandson forever. He will always be a part of Family Jing. If you want, you can go out of Family Jing. Anyone who touches my Ran will die with me!”
Mo Lan got furious too. It was impossible to throw Ran out of Family Jing!
Where would Jing Yiran go if he didn’t stay in Family Jing?
How would he survive if he was driven out of Family Jing?
He would be laughed at and demeaned by everyone in the society!
Jing Zhongxiu was extremely furious today. He had enough respect for Mo Lan but at this moment, he cared about nothing.
Mo Lan had never considered his feelings. She had only asked him to do everything according to her will and forced her decisions on him even if it agonized him.
He respected Mo Lan but there was a limit!
“You are my mother, but you can’t make decisions for Family Jing. I am the master of Family Jing and when I say that this bastard is going to leave, that’s final. As for me, only my father has the right to drive me out of Family Jing. You don’t have a say!”
